Under the patronage of the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Eng. Sami Smirat, the National Conference on Artificial Intelligence for an Active Civil Society was held today in Amman. The event was organized by Al-Hayat Center – RASED, in partnership with the European Union, and witnessed wide participation from representatives of Parliament, ministries, the private sector, and civil society organizations.

Minister Smirat stated that the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship has worked to strengthen Jordan’s presence in this field through the National AI Policy 2020 and the National AI Strategy 2023–2027, which includes 68 projects across vital sectors.
