The Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Eng. Sami Smeirat, inaugurated the new office of global technology company Zoho in Amman, marking a significant step in the company’s expansion across the Middle East and North Africa.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Indian Ambassador to Jordan, Manish Chauhan, along with company executives and representatives from Jordan’s information technology sector.

The new office will serve customers and partners of Zoho and ManageEngine, supporting sales, marketing, partner enablement, and customer success while creating new opportunities for Jordanian talent.

Minister Smeirat said the investment reflects the growing confidence of global technology companies in Jordan’s skilled workforce, advanced digital infrastructure, and attractive investment environment. He added that the initiative aligns with the objectives of the Economic Modernization Vision by supporting digital economy growth, creating high-quality jobs, and strengthening the competitiveness of Jordanian businesses.

The minister also highlighted the company's previous collaboration with the ministry through the Jordan Source program, noting that the new office will contribute to knowledge transfer and accelerate digital transformation across public and private sector institutions, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises.

According to Zoho, its business in Jordan grew by 39% in 2025, driven by increasing demand for customer relationship management, customer service solutions, Zoho One, Zoho Workplace, and Zoho Books. The company also stated that the Middle East and North Africa is its second fastest-growing region globally, with a 41% compound annual growth rate over the past five years.

Zoho's Middle East and Africa CEO, Haider Nizam, described Jordan as a strategic market for the company, while ManageEngine Vice President of Revenue Operations, Nirmal Kumar Manoharan, said the new office will enable closer support for organizations seeking secure and reliable IT management solutions.
