The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, through the Youth, Technology and Jobs (YTJ) Project, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth, implemented a Training of Trainers (ToT) program from 5 to 9 July 2026. The program aimed to prepare qualified national trainers to promote digital skills and artificial intelligence (AI) literacy across Jordan's governorates.
The program was implemented in coordination with the Digital Skills Association as part of activating the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two ministries. It seeks to leverage the network of Future Stations and youth centers across the Kingdom, transforming them into community platforms that provide training and reach young people in their local communities through the Jordan Coders (JoCodes) program.
As part of its pilot phase, the program trained a group of trainers and equipped them to deliver awareness and interactive sessions, encourage youth to enroll in the Jordan Coders (JoCodes) program, and provide technical guidance and mentorship throughout participants' learning journey.
The five-day intensive training was delivered by Hello World Kids and covered an introduction to the Jordan Coders program and its registration process, methodologies for delivering awareness sessions, and AI fundamentals. The training prepared participants to facilitate learning experiences and support beneficiaries in applying the skills they acquire.
Following the completion of the training phase, the trainers will begin the practical implementation stage at Future Stations and youth centers, where they will conduct awareness and interactive sessions, assist young people with registration in the program, and provide technical guidance and mentorship. The implementation will be monitored regularly to measure its impact and evaluate the pilot, paving the way for future expansion.
The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship emphasized that the program reflects the government's commitment to expanding access to digital learning opportunities and making the most of the existing infrastructure of youth centers and Future Stations. This contributes to strengthening the readiness of Jordanian youth for the labor market and keeping pace with the evolving demands of the digital economy.
The collaboration also demonstrates the commitment of both ministries to unifying national efforts to expand access to digital skills, empower young people across all governorates, and strengthen the role of Future Stations and youth centers as hubs for lifelong learning and innovation, in line with Jordan's vision of building a knowledge-based digital economy and investing in national talent.
The Jordan Coders (JoCodes) program is one of the flagship initiatives of the Youth, Technology and Jobs (YTJ) Project at the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship. Implemented in partnership with the Crown Prince Foundation, the program aims to promote digital literacy among young people of all ages by offering free, internationally accredited online courses in programming, artificial intelligence, data science, and application development through flexible remote learning opportunities.
