The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the Ministry of Youth have signed a cooperation agreement to develop and integrate Future Stations within youth centers across Jordan, aiming to empower young people with digital skills and expand opportunities in innovation, entrepreneurship, and the digital economy.

The agreement was signed by Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Eng. Sami Smeirat and Minister of Youth Dr. Raed Al-Adwan, in line with a Cabinet decision to integrate and enhance Future Stations as part of the government's efforts to modernize public services and strengthen youth development across the Kingdom.

Minister Smeirat said the partnership will expand the impact of Future Stations by providing modern learning environments that equip young people with in-demand digital skills. He added that integrating the stations into youth centers will improve access to training in digital skills, artificial intelligence, programming, cybersecurity, and entrepreneurship, supporting the objectives of Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision and digital transformation agenda.

Minister Al-Adwan described the agreement as an important step toward transforming youth centers into modern, interactive spaces that nurture young talent and provide innovative programs tailored to their aspirations. He also emphasized the ministry’s commitment to strengthening youth centers through institutional partnerships that promote participation and contribute to national development.

Under the agreement, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship will be responsible for developing, equipping, operating, and providing technical support and specialized training programs for the Future Stations. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Youth will provide suitable facilities within its youth centers and facilitate young people's access to the programs and activities.

The partnership also includes implementing joint training initiatives in digital skills, artificial intelligence, innovation, and entrepreneurship in line with the National Future Stations Strategy 2025–2028. The pilot phase will establish five Future Stations in Karak Governorate during 2026, with plans to expand to additional governorates in subsequent phases.
