The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, in partnership with Microfund for Women, celebrated the graduation of participants from the Workplace Training Program, implemented by the Digital Skills Association under the Youth, Technology and Jobs Project.
The ceremony recognized 124 graduates, including 74 participants in the Digital Empowerment and Employment track and 50 employees in the Career Advancement track. Over a three-month period, participants completed an intensive training program combining theoretical learning, hands-on projects, career mentoring, and continuous assessments to strengthen their technical, professional, and leadership skills.
Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Eng. Sami Smeirat emphasized that investing in skills and capacity building is essential to preparing young people and professionals for the evolving labor market. He noted that the ministry continues to support initiatives that provide practical experience and enhance career opportunities in line with the objectives of Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision.
Smeirat also highlighted the importance of collaboration between the public sector, private sector, and civil society in designing and implementing programs that address labor market needs while investing in human capital.
Chairman of the Digital Skills Association Dr. Alaa Nashiwat said the program demonstrates the value of aligning training with real market demands, helping participants acquire relevant skills and improve their career readiness.
For her part, Maha Al-Saeed, CEO of Microfund for Women, stressed that empowering both youth and employees with digital and leadership skills is key to sustainability and service excellence. She expressed the company’s commitment to continuing such partnerships to bridge advanced training with employment opportunities and support long-term career development.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates to graduates and the recognition of partners who contributed to the successful implementation of the program.
