The “Sanad” application has advanced to the final stage of the Digital@UNGA Awards 2026, organised by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), securing a place among the top 15 shortlisted projects in the Digital Government category, in a global competition that attracted approximately 1,500 entries from 146 countries around the world.

The Digital@UNGA Awards, held as part of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) events, recognise outstanding digital initiatives and solutions that leverage technology to serve communities, improve services, and advance digital transformation.

“Sanad’s” advancement to the final stage recognises the application’s achievements in improving the digital government service experience, facilitating the completion of transactions, and enhancing integration among government services within a digital ecosystem that is more accessible, efficient, and reliable.

The final winners are scheduled to be announced during the Digital@UNGA Awards 2026 ceremony, which will take place on 21 September 2026 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, following the completion of the evaluation process by the judging panel.

The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship affirmed that this international recognition represents a new achievement in Jordan’s digital transformation journey and reflects the continued efforts of the Ministry’s teams and partners to develop digital government services and strengthen the international presence of Jordan’s digital experience.
